A Meme for me me!

Awwwww shucks! I’ve been awarded this Meme by platespinner over at Spinning Plates. Thanks for popping my Meme cherry!

The rules of the award require me to list 7 personality traits and pass the award on to 7 other fabulous bloggers.

Here goes…….

1. I am a bossy boots. I put it down to being a big sister and the only girl out of 3 siblings. I really am terrible! I even boss my dad around. My poor long suffering husband has the patience of a saint……I hope!

2. I am determined. If I do something, I do my very best to do it well. There just seems no point if you’re not gonna try.

3. I am a bit ditsy. Since having kids my brain seems to have left via the emergency exit. I have never forgotten so many appointments, birthdays, names etc in my whole life. It is, quite frankly, becoming embarrassing!

4. I am a loyal friend. I don’t have a huge circle of friends, but the ones I do have I keep close. They are like sisters to me.

5. I am a perfectionist. Faced with any task I struggle to delegate as I always have that old adage ‘if you want something doing right, do it yourself’ swimming around in my head. It’s not that I don’t have faith in others, I just like it my way. Not good. Hmmmm.

6. I am a terrible worrier. There is no surprise I am an insomniac. I worry about everything. I over think any situation to the Nth degree and all sorts of scenarios play out in my head. Which leads me to worrying about worrying. Need to get a grip!

7. I am open-minded. I try not to prejudge situations only from my own perspective and try to see the bigger picture. I’ll always give someone the benefit of the doubt……once.

So that’s me! Don’t think I painted a great picture of myself there but hey-ho!
