Today we were supposed to be having lunch with a lovely lady and her 2 gorgeous boys. A friend from our antenatal class whose eldest son is Big E’s birthday twin.
Instead we are stuck indoors on a rainy day. But that’s a good thing, being cosy and warm indoors on a blustery wet day, surely?
Not today.
Today Big E has a fever and is sweaty and tetchy. He refused his tea yesterday evening, fell asleep on the sofa and woke with a fever of 38.5°. We’ve been alternating doses of ibuprofen and medinol every 3 hours to keep him comfortable.
I’m hoping it turns out to be something and nothing as we have plans to meet a gaggle of lovely ladies and their beautiful offspring in the wilds of Nottinghamshire on Sunday!
Fingers crossed Little E stays symptom free and for a better day on all fronts tomorrow.

I think we are living in the paralle. Both my boys have a feaver, sore throats and coughs. Maxi Mad had ear ache too last night. I hope that all is well for Sunday
