One word answers and zombie chickens. Eh?

by Ellie on September 12, 2009

Firstly, I am honoured to receive this ‘Over the Top’ blog award from Kerree over at ‘Mum Plus 4‘. Thank you kind lady.

I am, however, slightly perturbed that I can only use one word answers. This will be a challenge.

The rules for the Over the Top Award are as follows:

Use only one word to answer the following questions. Copy the questions and change the answers to suit you then pass it on.

1. Where is your mobile phone? Bag

2. Your hair? Red
3. Your mother? Missed
4. Your father? Hardworking
5. Your favourite food? Savoury
6. Your dream last night? Disturbing
7. Your favorite drink? Icy
8. Your dream/goal? Stability
9. What room are you in? Lounge
10. Your hobby? Blogging
11. Your fear? Leaving
12. Where do you want to be in 6 years? Amplified
13. Where were you last night? Home
14. Something that you aren’t? Thin
15. Muffins? Blueberry
16. Wish list item? Disney
17. Where did you grow up? Yorkshire
18. Last thing you did? Snuggled
19. What are you wearing? Stripes
20. Your TV? Annoying
21. Your pets? Swimming
22. Friends? Important
23. Your life? Busy
24. Your mood? Content
25. Missing someone? Mum
26. Vehicle? Costly
27. Something you’re not wearing? Apron
28. Your favourite store? Expensive
29. Your favourite color? Green
30. When was the last time you laughed? Today
31. Last time you cried? Yesterday
32. Your best friend? Special
33. One place that you go to over and over? Past
34. One person who emails you regularly? Jo
35. Favourite place to eat? Outdoors

Hmmm, one word really isn’t easy. I could’ve waxed lyrical about a few of those but thankfully you have been saved from that boredom.

So who shall I inflict pass this on to:

Secondly, the fabulously talented Josie over at ‘Sleep is for the Weak‘ has sent me the craziest blog award ever. This little beauty is the ‘Zombie Chicken Award’.

The award is explained as:

“The blogger who receives this award believes in the Tao of the zombie chicken – excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens just to be able to read their inspiring words. As a recipient of this world-renowned award, you now have the task of passing it on to at least 5 other worthy bloggers. Do not risk the wrath of the zombie chickens by choosing unwisely or not choosing at all.”

I am sure I am not worthy! *Blushes*

I must add that I am taking the last line in jest. I don’t believe a word of chain letter type thingymibobs and that isn’t the spirt in which I am forwarding the award.

So I would like to pass this award on to the following five bloggy people. They are each one brilliant, clever, funny, honest, down to earth, challenging and inspirational in their own ways:

Hot Cross Mum – If there’s one blogger that I can rely on to make me smile on a down day it’s Hot Cross Mum.

You’ve got your hands full – Linda’s honesty about binge eating has been an inspiration to me.

Who’s the Mummy – Sally manages to blog and compile the Tots 100 every month.

Jo Beaufoix
– Down to earth general lovely person and all round good egg. Her blog is brilliant.

Single Parent Dad – This man and his son are no less than inspirational. He probably won’t display this award but deserves it nevertheless.

So that’s me done. Thanks again to Kerree and Josie.

I need a rest now.
