I love reading blogs. All different kinds. It’s a bit of an obsession. I’d read them all day if it weren’t for those pesky kids needing to be entertained, fed and watered.
This morning I was reading an excellent post on combating blog fatigue at Erica’s blog ‘Littlemummy.com‘ and was waffling on in her comments (as I do) about how I love nosying at other people’s blog rolls. They often contain hidden gems that I’ve never come across.
So, I thought for a bit of fun we could go on a blog hunt and see where we end up.
The rules are:
- Leave me a comment to let me know you’re playing.
- Choose a number between 1 and 20.
- Scroll down to my ‘Blog Roll’ or ‘I often pop in on’ lists,
- Countdown your chosen number on the list and click through to the blog you land on.
- Read the latest post on that blog (only polite) and maybe leave a comment.
- Find their blog roll/links list, chose another random number and click through again.
- Leave the link to the second site in the Mr MckLinky below.
To give the idea a whirl I chose #1. This lead me to the lovely ‘Violet Posy‘ whose current post is rather aptly named ‘Monday Link Love‘. I left a comment on her blog then chose the ‘Home & Style section on her links list, decided to go for #38 and this landed me at ‘The Inspired Room‘. I liked this site so much I subscribed!
Hopefully we should end up with a hotchpotch of great blogs and sites to obsess over enjoy reading. Keep checking back for new additions.
