The turning point…..

by Ellie on November 17, 2009

Remember my nursery nerves? Well, today is the day Big E starts nursery.

My stomach is churning.

Everything is ready. Back pack, coat, wellies, clothes, scarf, hat and gloves all name tagged. Forms filled in, snack money counted.

I’m nowhere near emotionally ready, yet he’s raring to go.

Today is a turning point.

Wish us luck…..

Good luck!!!

I bet he'll have a blast. I can understand it's going to be harder for you – I'm going to be EXACTLY the same when it's Kai.

Hugs for you hun and high fives for Big E!!

All the best of luck! Today the first day of nursery seems so far away for us, but I know I am going to look back very soon and ask myself 'where has the time gone'?

He'll have a great time – can't wait to hear all about it.

Be brave Ellie!

He'll be absolutely fine and probably be bursting to get back tomorrow. Lots of luck anyway!

I do feel for you – it's a real wrench and you can't help worrying. But he'll love it. I have to say, though, that I've had first day blues on the first day of school, too… I'm dreading university!

Good luck, it's brilliant that he's looking forward to it. My eldest two had to be peeled off me, which is horrible, luckily my youngest was raring to go too. It's a big change for both of you, but you'll soon get used to the peace and quiet!

He'll love it! He'll come back and tell you all about it. Then when they get older, and you ask how their day was, they just grunt' fine.'

Hope it wasn't too hard on you.
