I feel a song coming on, you many just recognise the tune. I shall express my thoughts via the medium of disco.
Indulge me if you will…..
Kept thinking I could never live
Without him by my side.
But then I spent so many nights
Thinkin’ of nursery so long.
And he grew strong
And I learned how to get along.
And so he’s back,
From the nursery place.
I just walked in to find him here
With that big smile upon his face.
Should’ve saved myself the worry,
Put feet up and sipped on tea.
Wish I’d stopped for just one second
Saved the worrier in me!

Yeah, so apparently nursery is brilliant. So brilliant in fact that he didn’t want to come home. He played well, painted, joined in with the other children, didn’t have any tantrums and never looked back once I’d gone.
I walked in to find him hopping next to the teacher as she sang ‘Speckled Frog’.
Time wasted worrying? Infinitely too much.
Measurement of relief felt? Immense.

Very silly! Nursery is brilliant. Painting, new toys, sand trays and new buddies to play with. Who wouldn't love that?
