Little E had her first taste of baby rice on Sunday.
Do you think she was impressed?
Next experiment, pear puree.

ha ha, priceless expression!
Ah the joys of wearning. Maximad went on to puree, but MiniMad was a Baby Led Weaner and when straight to lumps and stuff at 6 months, it was so much easier, but then they are ony 15 months apart!!
Gorgeous photos. Have you splatter-proofed your house? Good luck with the weaning! x
Ah bless her. Good luck with the weaning. We're a month or so into BLW. Not without its highs and lows but on the whole amazing.
Neither of mine ever liked baby rice. (Don't blame them either, have you tasted it?). Apple and pear were much more successful, at least with Littleboy 2. Littleboy 1 refused to eat anything for about the first four weeks of weaning. We finally cracked it with fromage frais. I have never met a baby who does not like the latter!
Little E does not look too pleased, but still very cute!
Lovely photos! I've got photos of the Bear having baby rice for the first time. He looks OUTRAGED.
Ooooh baby rice – I remember tasting it when I offered it to Ben before deciding to do BLW and I swear it was wallpaper paste! Better cover everything in plastic now – Ciaran has discovered that if he blows a raspberry when he has a mouth full of food it goes everywhere – a very fun but messy time ahead of you!
Oh so cute! Try organix Banana Porridge – always a hit
Haha! Her face says it all! Charlie didn't like baby rice either, but yoghurt, carrot, and pear all went down faster than I could feed him! (Not together obviously!)
x
Such sweet photos! Have you tried baby rice? It's foul, I don't blame her. Banana, carrot, sweet potato and yoghurt all went down well in our house.
