The Golden Glow

by on December 22, 2009

In golden glow of winter light,The tree lights glisten clear and bright. Each festive beam of light reflected.Trinkets on the tree collected.Baubles glitter round and shiny,Hung from branches green and spiny. With golden beads draped all around,A star atop, the tree is crowned.’Neath the old mantle, all in a row, The children’s stockings hang in the glow,In silence they slumber awaiting the dawn,With gifts a plenty on Christmas morn.
