I’m sure by now you’ll probably heard of Heather at Notes from Lapland’s most excellent Secret Post Club.
It’s a lovely postal gift swap in which each month every member is secretly assigned a recipient then sends them a little something in the post. It could be homemade, bought, something loved that you want to pass on. Anything to brighten someone’s day.
I was greatly cheered up this month when my parcel arrived from none other than the lovely Heather herself.
Big E was most keen to open the parcel and inside he found a handmade shopping bag embroidered with a reindeer motif and (with squeels of toddler delight) some delicious chocolates.
In her doodle adorned note Heather said,
“I wanted to make you something pretty, useful and Lapland-esq. I hope this shopping bag fits the bill.”
Fit the bill it most certainly does! Oh and the chocolates? They were probably lovely but with a chocoholic husband and son I didn’t get a taste! Thanks to Heather for brightening our day.

I wonder what March’s edition will bring…..
