You may notice that this week’s ‘Hot or not?’ is slightly later than usual. A short, well deserved family break and a little blogoliday temporarily suspended play.
But, as they say, better late than never!
Last week Milo Ventimiglia was yet another vote splitter with some even describing him as ‘a bit geography teacher looking‘. Well, he can be my hero and teach me the lie of the land any time he likes. Ahem.
This weeks gentleman was chosen by a lady who’s begun to despair of the plethora of ‘young’ men paraded before her eyes in past editions of ‘Hot or not?’ and I thought it was about time she had someone to swoon over. Her choice is certainly a good one!
Who could this gentleman be? Let’s find out.
John Corbett, hot or not?
In more recent times Mr Corbett is probably best known for his role as Carrie Bradshaw’s (ex) boyfriend, Aidan Shaw, in HBO’s world famous show ‘Sex and the City’. I’ve got to admit at this point that I’ve never seen a complete episode of ‘Sex and the City’.
What? I was busy, or something.
My memory of Mr Corbett is from a little further in the past. Do you remember ‘Northern Exposure’? Our lovely Mr Corbett played the small town of Cicely in Alaska’s resident Disc Jockey, Chris Stevens, from 1990 -1995. Yes, I am that old, but he’s older. Born in 1961 (and standing at a rather swoonsome 6′ 4″) I reckon he’s still looking pretty darn good!
It’s not my call though, you decide…..

Hot, but only when his hair is short. There were some ugly episodes of Sex in the City when his hair was long n stringy.

Hot, but completely agree with the others -his hair has to be short! He’s now in the United States of Tara – on Showtime in the states – with Toni Collette. He’s really great in it (and looks even better than ever).
He is totally hot! I do love him as Aiden, but Carrie has to be with Mr Big, whom I love slightly more! You must watch Sex and the City reruns on comedy central every night Mon – Thurs, they started from series one again last week! I loved John Corbett in My Big Fat Greek Wedding aswell!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Just did a meme on him. Well, not only him. But only in SATC. And in no other film. Although, yes to Northern Exposure. But not in anything else. (Believe me, I got out all his films and watched them. Stinkers one and all and he looks awful with long hair). And he’s happily attached to Bo Derek.
Ahhh…..Mr. Corbett…..I have lots of fond memories of watching him in Northern Exposure….very quirky and yummy.
So I would have to say……HOT!!!!

I’ve mulled this over and it’s a Not from me I’m afraid. He was quite fanciable as Aiden but this photo makes him look like Alec Baldwin and a bit ‘puffy’ around the edges. Sorry. I SO wanted to like him.
