It’s my blogoversary! Today, Insomniac Mummy is one year old!

A full 365 days has passed since, on a whim, I created my own little corner of t’interweb.
When I began waffling, like a deluded crazy insomniac, those twelve short months ago, little did I know how cathartic and strangely addictive blogging could be. What’s more, who knew that someone would actually read my idle ramblings?
There have been good times, bad times and sad times. But that’s life, and mine is no more or less remarkable than the next person.
There’s been a lot of reflection on times long gone, moments when I’ve wondered why I bother and questioned what my place is in all this. Times when I’ve had the (often awestruck) pleasure of meeting some of my favourite bloggers in the flesh (so to speak) and laughed ’til I cried. The odd soap box rant, and times when I’ve been humbled to be a small part of something wonderful.
But most of all there’s been that all consuming, unconditional, fierce love that every parent feels for their children.
So, to those who’ve read, commented, laughed, cried, offered a shoulder, supported, encouraged, enjoyed, and stuck around; This is me sending you a huge thank you!
Oh, and if you fancy tarrying a while longer, then that’d be just peachy!
