So, the charity walk I did last weekend?
Turns out walking at altitude in thick cloud, hail and strong wind is *slightly* scary, a tad dangerous and may involve mountain rescue. But my goodness, it was an adrenaline rush!
The pictures below are from before we kind of got totally lost and ended up at Ullswater – 11 miles from where we were meant to be! Nevertheless we all turned up safe and sound in the end, covered more mileage than needed, and raised an amazing £7500 for Mencap!
I’ve got itchy feet to do it all again, but this time for fun! There may have been talk of the Yorkshire Three Peaks……bring it on!

Dave and I did the three peaks two years ago. It was honestly the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. That third hill was an absolute bitch – nearly vertical at points.
