At the ripe old age of 35 Mr DiCaprio has built up a pretty damn impressive body of work. Last time Matt Smith & Karen Gillan (aka The Doctor & Amy Pond) were definitely in receipt of a split vote, with the hot vote falling most certianly on Ms Gillan’s time travelling shoulders. I can’t say I disagree, she is rather stunning!

This weeks ‘Hot or not?’ is yet another double offering. This duo are central to the story in a very soon to be ending (sob sob) BBC Drama. He’s the politically incorrect chalk to her perceptive and sassy cheese. But what does the end hold for them?

Keeley Hawes and Philip Glenister, hot or not?

I think it’s fair to say that Philip Glenister has made Gene Hunt a national institution. Throw in Keeley Hawes as Alex Drake and together they’ve made Ashes to Ashes one of the most enthralling dramas on British TV.

I’ll be sad to see them go so, for me, as actors they are hot!

Last week George Clarke, Channel 4′s ‘Restoration Man’, left quite a few of you on the on the fence. He can come round to mine and draw me up some plans anytime!

This week is a double whammy of hot or notness (yes I made that word up). These two bright young things are the current stars of one of the BBC’s best loved shows. It’s seen lots of regeneration over the decades, originally running from 1963 to 1989, with it extremely successful revival in 2005.

As the new faces of the all new series of Doctor Who (BBC 1, Saturday, 6pm) I reckon they’re both hot.

It was always going to be a tough job for Matt Smith to step into an extremely popular David Tennant’s shoes as The Doctor, but within a few minutes of his first appearance he’d won the approval of Doctor Who fans everywhere. He’s brought a new lease fo life to the Eleventh Doctor with a well received injection of youth and exuberance.

As for Karen Gillan, this virtual unknown has brought Doctor Who’s companion bang up to date. Like a 21st century Alice in Wonderland, and not always one to do exactly as she’s told, Karen’s character, Amy Pond, is certainly ready to challenge The Doctor! Oh, and she’s a redhead, which in my (biased) book, totally rocks!

I’ve got to say, although I can appreciate that he’s pretty, he doesn’t exactly float my fickle little boat. Maybe it’s the constant media coverage that leaves me cold? Last week Jonathan Rhys Meyers graced the page and was most definitely popular with many of you lovely readers, not least the fabulous Melissa over at ‘Smitten by Britain‘.  Maybe it was the weird lace up pants? Who knows?

OK, so he’s not your classically good looking type, nor is he a honed and toned hunk, but, there is alot to be said for being able to tickle those funny bones and Mr McIntyre has certainly proved to be quite adept at that, in spades.

As for being a border collie, I’d say more of a pekinese myself, definitely something of the small and yappy variety. He’s cute but I’m not sure I’d want to carry him around in my handbag.

Last week Mr Robbie Williams received a decidedly lukewarm reception. It seems his popularity amongst (ahem) women of a certain age has definitely diminished somewhat since the 1990′s. I wonder if he got the memo?

This week’s young man gentleman is brought to you courtesy of one of the loveliest people I’ve never met, Josie of Sleep is for the Weak and Judith’s Room notoriety. Ever since she first set eyes on him, one fateful night whilst watching Star Trek (yes, you read that right Star Trek), she has been in virtual lust love.

Who could this head turner be? Lets see.

I’ve got to admit that for me he made the new version of Star Trek worth watching. Twice. He set many a heart a flutter as the new Captain James T Kirk and he’s got that twinkle in his eye. You know the one. Fear ye not, the boy turns 30 later this year so he’s just the right age…..yay!

Friday has found us again and what better way to round off the week than with a bit of hot or not?

Last week Josh Holloway was extremely well received. So far he seems to the ‘Hot or not?’ front runner in 2010, an honour I’m certain he’s very proud of indeed.

This weeks contender was chosen by ‘lil old me. He was one of my teenage crushes waaaaaaay back in the early ’90′s and is possibly one of the most famous faces in the UK over the last two decades.

So, hot on the heels of his lifetime achievement award at this years Brits and without further ado:

Mr Williams seems to be one of those people you’re compelled to either love or loathe. I was *actually* going to marry him in a wild fantasy inside my head.

He’s led quite the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, most of which has panned out in full view of the world’s media. These days he seems, fingers crossed, to have calmed down somewhat and finally found love. He carries a distinct aura of vunerability about him, which oddly makes me want to mother him.

I’d tuck him up with a hot water bottle any day.

Right, where were we? Oh yes. Last week Rupert Penry-Jones was a vote splitter. Some liked his English charm while others thought he had the charisma of a potato. He won’t be calling me anytime soon so I won’t sweat it.

This weeks fine figure of a man is brought to you courtesy of fellow Twitter addict @Jordanfleet. Her suggestion is a rather buff 40 year old gentleman who is currently starring in the final season of a very popular American TV series.

Mr Holloway is of course better know to Lost fans as Sawyer. When you factor his sexy voice into the mix I have to say he is pretty damn fine. I’d be happy to be seduced by him any day. Swoooooon.
