It’s almost the weekend so that can only mean one thing. Yep, you guessed it, ‘Hot or not?’ time!
Last week the sane vast majority of you recoiled in horror as you scrolled down to find Mr Simon Cowell staring back out at you from your favourite Friday feature. He was so perturbed by your non Cowell love that he threw a showbiz hissy fit and resigned from his role on American Idol in disgust.
This week’s pretender to the ‘Hot or not?’ throne is not an international media mogul, more of a rising international star. Pippa at ‘A Mother’s Ramblings‘, Liz at ‘Living with Kids‘, Gigi at ‘MumsRock‘, and Hazel at ‘Hot Cross Mum‘ have all been discussing their appreciation of his fine form acting talents on Twitter.
He’s just arrived on our screens in the UK in E4′s brilliant new show Glee and already seems to have won over a fair few hearts.
So this week, for your perusal:
Matthew Morrison, hot or not?
Mr Morrison is a bit of an all round entertainer. He’s appeared on Broadway in Footloose, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Hairspray. You can catch him exercising those vocal chords in Glee.
He has a little bit of the Timberlakes about him methinks, but this picture doesn’t do him the justice he deserves. You’ll have to watch Glee to see him in the flesh!

I do like him, but when he was singing I couldn't help thinking he was a little effeminate. But I've fallen head over heels for his co-star Cory Monteith who plays student Finn… and it's OK but he's not really a high school student, he's 27! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cory_Monteith

As a connoisseur of vocal ability, a veritable Svengali of the vocal-chords, I vote 'hot'. The guy's got talent. Which is more than can be said for last week's entry….
Yeah, he'd do. After the Cowell shocker last week he's hottie gold by comparison, although still prefer the authentic JT. I thought his Gold Digga' was a bit Dad dancing though!

I have to agree with make do mum – after googling him I am thinking "bleugh"… however… I reckon he's one of those people who probably look a lot better in the flesh – so to speak – I mean, you'd notice him if he got on the bus wouldn't you? And you'd look, you might even stare vacantly. So he's toasty at the least.
Welllll, I can see that he's attractive. But, I saw him in Glee the other night but didn't get excited at the sight of him.

I'll have to say Hot – what with the singing and the dancing and the curliness n all. But agree with Liz that student (thankfully 27 yo) Finn is more my thing. Chuck him in for a Hot or Not session please. Major improvement from last week though.

I'm not a Timberlake fan per se, but this one I like, so it's a definite…….HOT!
I can see that some would find him attractive but he's not for me. When are we having some tanned, muscled torso's in 'hot or not' ? I fear that until then the best I will muster will be a 'warm'

I don't know him. I don't watch much TV. Maybe I should start? He looks a bit like a grown-up Justin Timberlake with a bit more meat on. Mhmmm, yummy. I think I am drooling. OMG I AM DROOLING!
Morrison is genetically hot but he'd have to be in a hot role maybe fireman ripping off shirt, sweat dripping etc to really show if he has sex appeal. But in Glee he plays a total metrosexual sensitive tap dancer so it's hard to really get hot under the collar about him.
I wasn't sure at first but having seen a couple of episode of Glee – I think hot! Also he looks a little like my husband did when we first met…nice
