You know how stressful the run up to Christmas can be?
Every year your stomach churns at the thought of how you’re going to find the time and money to find a little something wonderful for your loved ones. Every year prices rise and you wonder if you can afford everything you need, never mind find the time to hit the high street!
This year Santa has come early for me and taken away that worry! I’ve been invited to take part in something very exciting that could see you, YES YOU, winning £100! Interested? Thought so….
The lovely people at eBay have very generously paid £250 into my PayPal account. With this money I have been challenged, along with four other bloggers, to buy all my Christmas gifts on eBay. A kind of ‘one stop Christmas shop’ challenge!
The competition will run over at http://apps.facebook.com/mummyebay and I have between now and the 1oth December to complete the task. I’ll be attempting to buy gifts for the children, my husband and a few other family members, all brand new, all the best bargains we can find.
Once the challenge is over a panel of judges will choose one of the five Mummy Bloggers to win a £500 PayPal credit and I’ll get to choose a lucky ‘fan’ to receive £100 paid straight into their PayPal account. I’ll be looking to choose someone who has helped me along the way with suggestions for the best bargains in order for me to complete my task.
I’ll be screaming for help asking for suggestions on my Facebook Profile, On my Blog Fan Page, and also using the hashtag #mummyebay on Twitter. You can also vote for me in the Facebook app by clicking my profile picture and clicking ‘Vote Me!’.
So come on over an help me (please!), and you could be in with a chance of winning that £100 prize!

I’ll keep that in mind LOL!
I was perusing Cath Kidston stuff not an hour ago.
What an excellent idea – I’m rubbish at eBay and have only ever bought a lampshade off it so not sure I’m going to be any good for advice but you certainly have my moral support. x

Moral support gratefully received!
I always find eBay is good to make up your own little pamper/treat hampers for people. I used to find a job lot of wicker baskets and then order job lots of Body Shop smellies, little trinkets, just bits and pieces to create things like bath pamper kits (lots of smellys, bath lillies, eyemask, face masks), Children cooking kit (little chefs hat, miniture kitchen utensils, recipe book) movie night hamper (popcorn machine, DVD’s, flavoured popcorn sachets)
You get the idea!
And then if your feeling really creative you can even order a roll of cellophane from eBay to wrap them all up in
If you go onto MoneySavingExpert.com and search the forums there is always a really good thread on Xmas hampers.
Hope this helps a little

I love the hamper idea! May well have to get my thinking cap on with that one!
This is hilarious and so fab. I actually have done most of my Christmas shopping on ebay, as well as just buying a couple of leather settees and selling a ton of stuff. Woo hoo, go girl. xx
